What’s the warranty period?
The RD05 Smart Lock comes with a 12 months standard warranty covering manufacturing defects and electronic component failures.
What does the warranty cover?
Our warranty covers defects in materials only, including electronic components, keypad, fingerprint sensor, and lock mechanism. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper installation, accidents, or normal wear and tear.
What is the minimum order quantity?
The RD05 Smart Lock has a minimum order quantity of 25 units, ideal for hotels, Airbnbs, serviced apartments and other hospitality businesses.
Do you provide spare parts for the RD05?
Yes. We stock spare parts such as fingerprint modules, keypads and lock mechanisms to ensure quick repairs and minimal downtime for your business.
What happens if the lock or batteries fail?
Each lock comes with a backup entry method, such as a physical key or an emergency power port, so you’re never locked out. You’ll also receive low-battery alerts before they need replacing.
How are access codes created and sent to guests?
Staff can generate a unique code from the app for each stay and send it to the guest via email or text before arrival. You control when each code becomes active and when it expires, eliminating the need for manual key handovers.
Will the smart lock work if there’s no Wi-Fi or internet?
Yes. Once an access code is generated, it’s stored directly in the lock’s memory and
will still work even if the internet connection drops.
Do you provide on-site support or only remote assistance?
We provide both remote assistance and on-site support, depending on your needs. Most issues can be resolved quickly but if necessary, the panel team can arrange on-site visits.
What are the requirements for RD05 Smart Lock installation?
The RD05 is compatible with most wooden and fire-rated doors with a thickness of 35–55 mm. A stable door frame is required.
Is installation included in the price, or is there an additional fee?
Installation is not included in the RM499 unit price. Standard installation with panel installer starts from RM200 per lock within our service areas. Bulk order installation packages and multi-location setups can be arranged at discounted rates.
Can I give different codes to guests, cleaners, and maintenance staff?
Absolutely. You can assign separate codes to different people, each with its own access schedule. For example, cleaners can have a code that only works during specific hours after checkout.
Is there a limit to how many properties or locks I can manage from one account?
No. The app is built to grow with you – you can manage a single lock or hundreds across multiple locations, all from one account.
